September 1, 2019 - “Fireworks Train”

The WEBN Cincinnati Bell Labor Day Fireworks has been an “end of summer” tradition in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky for over 40 years. Avoid the hassle of traffic and join us for a front row seat for this spectacular show. We will board at the Norwood Eagles Station and run down the former Pennsylvania Railroad’s “Oasis” to the Montgomery Inn Boathouse where passengers can disembark for several hours to enjoy Riverfest and the Fireworks at 9pm. After the fireworks we will head back to the Norwood Eagles Station. This is has become a “must go” event for many tristaters and we offer the best way to enjoy this end of summer tradition so hurry and get your tickets now before they’re all gone.

October 12, 2019 - DT&I Special - “The North End”

Join us for an extremely rare opportunity to ride the northern leg of Henry Ford’s Railroad. We will travel the northern end of the DT&I from Leipsic, Ohio to Diann Tower just north of the Ohio / Michigan border near Dundee. This 135 mile round trip will take us through Hamler where we will cross the CSX Willard Subdivision, Malinta, Liberty Center, Delta where we will cross over Norfolk Southern Railway’s very busy Chicago Line and finally to Diann Tower just south of Dundee Michigan. After a short stop we will head back south to Leipsic. We will have full concessions with a wide array of options available for purchase in our Queen City Tavern car. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to travel over a very historical railroad that once hauled coal and raw materials for automobiles from the Ohio River in Ironton, Ohio to Flat Rock, Michigan.

October 19, 2019 - “South Charleston Rocket”

Enjoy a scenic train ride through the rolling cornfields of Clark County, Ohio from the DT&I station near downtown South Charleston to Springfield’s Snyder Park. These short round trips are ideal for families especially those with younger children. We will have full concessions with a wide array of options available for purchase in our Queen City Tavern car.

Departure Times: 10a, 1230p, 3p

October 26, 2019 - “Lima Limited - Fall Colors”

Come enjoy the beautiful Fall Colors as we travel along the DT&I Middle Subdivision from Springfield, OH to Lima, OH. The excursion will include crossing the high bridge over the Great Miami River in Quincy, OH. This 140 Mile Round Trip is currently our longest scheduled ride of the year. We will stop for lunch at Lincoln Park in Lima, OH. There passengers can enjoy touring a display of historic railroad artifacts. This all day trip will be enjoyable for passengers of all ages as we meander through the Ohio countryside.

Trip Duration: 9.5 Hours. Food available on the train.
